sephora + skin cancer foundation

Happy Sunday evening, guys and dolls! I’m back after a bit of a break. I’m working on a post to share where I’ve been, but in the meantime I have wonderful news for you. The 2013 Sephora “Sun Safety Kit” is here! I’m very excited to share this with you, as Sephora hasn’t even officially announced it yet.

This kit is full of luscious samples of bronzers, sunscreens, body lotions, and all around treats to create glowing summer skin. The best part of it all is that Sephora lists on their site that “a $20 donation from each kit will benefit The Skin Cancer Foundation”. The kit is $30 and the full value of the contents far exceeds the retail cost.
I’m so glad to be able to share this news with you, in case you too are a lover and stalker of the annual sunny kit of goodness with a philanthropic twist.

Quite frankly, once Sephora officially announces it via email or tweet, it’s usually sold out by then. Oh yes, this little nugget sells out usually in day or two and I totally missed out last year.

This year, however, I’ve been religiously stalking the site in anticipation. I have been visiting each morning (and afternoon) for the past week or so and have been doing a search for “sun safety kit”. I noticed this afternoon that the new sku number popped up with my search.

Oh, the Joy!!

I immediately placed an order for the kit and threw in a Fresh Citron de Vigne Body Lotion to get the free shipping. I love the aspect of the donation to The Skin Cancer Foundation. ♥Beauty and Heart, all in one little makeup bag. Gotta love it.

For a full list of the treats in the 2013 kit and to purchase, click here. Please move quickly, darlings, this little bag of goodies will sell out before you pour yourself a glass of bubbly!

{p.s., Yes you do see yet another new name at the top of my blog. It’s just about time for another re-branding, don’t you think?! I sure do.}
