boo + v.becks

Happy Halloween! I hope you have some ghoulish plans tonight or had some spooky fun over the weekend. I went as Victoria Beckham on Saturday night to a Werewolf hosted dinner party with Tom Colicchio on my arm.

I’ve gone newly chestnut/toffee for the fall and the outfit was inspired by the new hair. Up until 2pm on Saturday, the plan was Rachel Zoe, but I made a quick change when I realized that no matter how many “ba-na-nas” and “I die” I rattled off, I was not going to pull of the blonde Zoe. So, I pulled together my highest heels and most enormous sunglasses and pinned up the back of the hair to do an old school V.B. extreme chocolate bob. It was MAJOR.

So, I have a question for you: What are you reading? I’ve finally located my Kindle from a newly unpacked box last night and I’m dying to read a new book. As the days get darker and colder, I need something light, fluffy and, well,  basically a rom-com flick in book form. Like Serendipity, for example.

If I could get this movie in a book and have the same joy I feel each time I watch this, I would be one happy girl.

So, do you have any suggestions? Tell me about some of your delicious, fun reads!

On a final note, the only way I can move forward with this blog is if I completely embrace randomness again. I hope that is alright by you, darlings. I’ve tried to shove this blog into the form of food, health, beauty, design, etc. And, it’s no longer happening. I have to be structured and focused in all parts of my life and this is one of the only spots where I don’t have to be. So, why should I? You might also be seeing more than a few different titles on the blog. This is just me embracing randomness. I will re-title endlessly until I am utterly in love. So there. Embrace randomness. That is the word of the day.

Have a fabulous, delicious day. And please overindulge on your favorite Halloween candy. Mine is a toss-up between Tootsie Rolls and Rolos.

  1. Okay, I just looked it up… Apparently that skating scene that I’ve always thought was Bryant Park is actually Central Park. Oh well. I’m gonna keep on thinking it was Bryant Park, because, well, Hooray for randomness!!

  2. Hey Muff
If you’re looking for some rom-com books then I suggest Janet Evanovich’s Wicked Appetite and the Stephanie Plum series. Have you read Olivia Joules and the Overactive Imagination? Very Channing kind of read indeed. Mwah!
