Happy New Year! Welcome to Fresh + Fab January! This month is about being inspired and seeking out new experiences. It’s a fresh new year and time to create some sparkle, glitz and glam!
Enjoying this warm, fresh from the oven pain au chocolat was a fabulous way to celebrate the last morning of 2011. Leonora Bakery in Arlington, Virginia has just opened and I am so excited to have it close by. I stopped in to get this treat before running some errands and then going home to bake goodies for a new year’s eve soiree.
This month, I have been inspired by someone [my fave baker extraordinaire!] to learn how to make my own fresh bread. I have designated this as my special culinary project of the month. This is the time to try new things and keep this long, cold month fab!
